The Schools Linking Network aims to

facilitate links between schools in England to help children and young people explore their identity, celebrate diversity and develop dialogue:

  • We offer support and training for schools and local authorities to deliver on their statutory duty to promote community cohesion.
  • Our projects support children and young people in becoming active citizens.
  • Our work in community cohesion is nationally recognised and supported by the DCSF, Ofsted and the QCDA.

Watch out for new case studies, videos and further materials that SLN will be adding over the next month.

Ways of linking

School linking

Our work is for all primary, secondary, special schools and post-16 settings. We offer CPD and guidance throughout a project to meet your setting's needs and ensure successful outcomes. Our National Gateway database provides you with the opportunity to find a suitable link with a registered school.

Local Authority supported linking

SLN is currently working with thirty local authorities throughout England, providing training, guidance and resources. Find out if your LA is involved.
