Special schools case studies

SLN works in all educational settings, taking great care to define individual needs. In our work with students with special education needs, we have developed creative methods to enable all students to take part in linking activities.

Where links are established between special schools and mainstream schools both are provided with opportunities to explore identity, equality, and powerful learning experiences.

The best examples of school linking are built into existing schemes of work and grounded in the curriculum with pupils working together on a joint project or activity and involving parents and carers as required.
