Reports & Evaluations
This section contains reports and evaluations that have been carried out to assess the SLN programmes.
Included are two key documents – the ‘Final Evaluation Report (Anni Raw 2009) on the initial ‘Bradford School Linking Project’ and the ‘Evaluation of the Schools Linking Network Final Report’ (NFER 2011) which is an assessment of the ‘National Programme’ developed by SLN and subsequently implemented in forty settings across England.
SLN is a learning organisation that places great emphasis on the role of reflective practice of ourselves, of teachers and of children and young people.
We have continually refined our model according to the recommendations we have learned from these evaluations and are grateful to both Anni Raw and her team, and to the team at NFER, for their thoughtful and thought-provoking work.
We are about to embark on a new and exciting layer of research where we will be using more of an action-research approach to develop greater understanding of the way learning occurs in this complex area.
