“SLN’s work is not only vital in helping schools develop closer links, but also in supporting the teachers of those schools with specialist advice and support, e-linking opportunities, SLN-Model United Nations projects, and up-to-date views and support on developing education policy connected with Ofsted inspection.” Dave Norman MBE
The Schools Linking Network is delighted to welcome Dave Norman MBE on board as the new Chief Executive Officer with overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and strategic development of the charity.
Dave has a wealth of knowledge in the development of strategies for education and community related projects. His experience includes working for the West Yorkshire Police, Government Office and the University of Bradford.
With a strong understanding of the vital importance of helping to support young people and communities, Dave is looking forward to building on the excellent work that the SLN team has already developed.
Dave’s appointment follows the resignation of long-standing Chief Executive and Founder of SLN, Angie Kotler, who has stepped down to pursue more in-depth research into the teaching and learning of young people.
