SLN Executive Summary
Evaluation of the first 10 LAs pilot year of
SLN programme to support schools to meet the duty to contribute to
community cohesion. Anni Raw has completed an extensive survey of
the first 10 LAs to work with SLN between 2007 and 2009. Developing
this work in different contexts around the country and with
students of all ages and backgrounds has been a huge learning
experience for all concerned. This report helps us to continue to
refine and improve our support to LAs and schools. NFER is now
carrying out in depth evaluation of SLN’s work on behalf of DCSF
and will be reporting in late 2010.
