Bradford Linking at Culture Fusion 2012

The Bradford programme has been active since 2001.  In this school year (2011/2012) 100 individual classes and 78 schools are involved, and there continues to be a waiting list.

Calderdale

The SLN linking programme for Calderdale began in 2010, and was coordinated through the Local Authority Education Department.

A gateway training day was held in Derbyshire for schools interested in getting involved in local links.

The new academic year saw children from four schools in Gateshead take part in an exciting school linking programme.

Thirteen Gloucester schools and five London schools attended an SLN CPD day in autumn 2011, which was very well received and resulted in six new link partnerships.

Rotherham joined the SLN programme in 2010, and by 2011/2012 19 schools were involved in the programme;

Twenty-five new schools joined the Somerset school linking programme in 2011 / 2012, sixteen of which are rural Somerset schools and nine inner city or urban schools.
