The videos in this section were created during the Schools Linking Network-Model United Nations events.
The SLN-MUN programme encourages students to take on, and attempt to deal with, complex global crises and provides an opportunity for young people to explore ways of dealing with controversial issues.
SLN MUN students reflect on the impact of their visit to the New York conference
In March 2010, SLN-MUN students from secondary schools in Bradford attended the 36th annual National High School Model United Nations Conference in New York. The video documents students’ reflections on the impact of their involvement in the SLN- MUN linking project.
Between 2008 and 2009, students from 17 Bradford schools took part in an SLN-Model United Nations conference. The video documents the conference and the young people’s reflections on the experience; demonstrates some of the fun activities, which were designed to help the students build links; and the students’ participation in and reflection on a debate on climate change.
